MY STORY
I am Tasmanian born and bred, growing up in Hobart. After travelling and studying Drama and English teaching, I have been teaching, directing plays and singing for many years.
Being an experienced public speaker at weddings, funerals and public events, encouraged me to pursue a new career as a Marriage Celebrant. When instructing others in this area, I stress the value of being natural and sincere, whilst being personable and articulate. I am lucky to have excellent vocal projection, through years of singing, vocal training and teaching.
I am happily married, have 3 grown up children, and with our extended family, own a dairy farm in spectacular Bream Creek, in south-eastern Tasmania. I manage the property’s finances and am enjoying being part of the farm’s new venture into our own brand of milk and cheese.
My passions include singing, bushwalking, reading, socialising, discovering new places and being involved in organising and attending community events and, of course, my family and friends! After completing Certificate IV in Celebrancy early in 2019, I am enjoying the challenges and joyfulness that accompany creating ceremonies that are ‘just so’ and perfectly unique for my clients.

MY SERVICES
Starting with an informal conversation discussing on how you met, your developing relationship, your decision to get married and your dreams for the future. We discuss your likes and dislikes of other ceremonies you have attended and ideas you wish to include in your own, making it completely your own. This gives us some starting points for your ceremony. I feel it is essential that your ceremony reflects your personalities, values and beliefs. This process is great fun and I ensure a relaxed and professional atmosphere. My approach is to collaborate with each individual couple to your own vibrant and personal wedding ceremony that reflects you and your story.
Management & facilitation of the legal process, 2 to 3 meetings with the couple to create their unique ceremony, including sample ceremonies, ideas for music, readings, rituals & choreography & staging, unlimited phone and email access for questions or discussion & refining, ceremony rehearsal at venue, PA system if necessary, Wedding Certificate.
FULL WEDDING
Management & facilitation of the legal process, meeting with couple for ceremony options, music & speaker & Wedding Certificate ($450). For 12 people or less, an option to have the ceremony in our garden at Bream Creek, or in our home if the weather is inclement & a bottle of Tasmanian champagne.
INTIMATE WEDDING
Registry-style ceremony with legals only, no frills, no fuss, lodgement of Notice of Intended Marriage and registration of Marriage and a bottle of Tasmanian champagne (2 witnesses over 18 necessary).
ELOPEMENTS
